I think the biggest compliment I have received from clients thus far has been that their eyebrows look amazing after I work on them. I love making my girls happy so this always leaves me in a great mood and motivates me to keep doing what I do!! I have had clients purchase this product from me as well because they love it so much.
Anastasia Beverly Hills makes amazing eyebrow products that fly off the shelves all the time. I have loved their dipbrow pomade products because they do so many jobs at once:
- adds color
-waterproof/smudgefree sculpting
-flawless shading thanks to the creamy formula
I was told at the store that I shouldn't bother stocking up on every single color of dipbrow, as some of their shades are very close in tint. I have dark brown for my girls with darker hair, and blond for my girls with lighter hair. I am able to change the shade with my eyebrow powder palettes to suit my needs and have been very happy with the results! Here are some swatches of the different colors that are available.
(Thank you Pinterest again!)
This product is very easily applied with a stiff angled brush. Extra product can be worked off of the brush on the inside of the top of the jar and then applied directly to the eyebrows. I usually use the dipbrow first, and then go back in with powder to change the tint if necessary. Depending on your client's preferences, you can go as heavy or light with product as you want and the results are the same! It lasts forever and doesn't smudge in high humidity and heat. I love this product.
Here is some brow action on my clients:
Highly recommend this product! Happy shopping!!

Best of 2015 Review: Too Faced Stardust Palette
One of my favorite purchases this year was the Stardust palette by Too Faced. I have followed @vegas_nay on Instagram for years and was so happy that she collaborated with Too Faced this summer to create this beautiful palette because it is so versatile and comes with so many goodies! The BEST part was that it's $45! Read on to see why.
You get SO much for the $45- inside the beautiful packaging is the eyeshadow palette, Too Faced's Better Than Sex mascara, Shadow Insurance eyeshadow primer, and Glamour Dust Glitter in the color Nude Beam. There are also 6 cards with makeup looks on them, complete with descriptions of which shadows were used for each look.
In the palette itself, there are matte and shimmer shadows to choose from and range in different colors from black and purple, to brown and white. I have used this palette on most of my clients, despite having other popular palettes because the colors are so versatile and beautiful and easy to work with.
Here are swatches of each color on different color arms as well as what the inside of the palette looks like (Pinterest is amazing!) and descriptions of the colors from Ulta's website:
Girl's Night (matte deep warm brown)
Selfie (cream white with slight silver shimmer)
Chandelier (matte cream)
Golden Nugget (gold foiled coppery shimmer)
The Strip (silvered mauve)
Follow Me (vibrant blue purple with blue sparkle)
Showgirl (bronzed pearl)
Millennial (matte warm medium brown)
Pink Pearl (pearl cool light pink)
Double Tap (deep red brown with violet sparkle)
Sin City (matte black)
Jackpot (brown with gold shimmer)
Here are some looks that I have created with this palette! As you can see, it's easy to be super dramatic as well as subtle and soft.

Best of 2015 Review: Mac Cosmetics' Velvet Teddy! My clients' favorite lipstick
I have sold Mac Cosmetics' lipstick in shade "Velvet Teddy" to several clients after using it on them for their event. It seems to fit every skin color and feels smooth and beautiful on the lips. It is my go-to shade for any and every look that requires a nude lip.
Velvet Teddy is a matte shade, described by Mac as a deep-tone beige. I love the pink undertones. I usually line everyone's lips with Mac Cosmetics' Whirl (described as a dirty rose shade by Mac)- and it works together perfectly.
Here's what they both look like, straight off of Mac's website:
Here is how it looks on my different clients :) Some girls that are featured in these photos requested a glossy finish, so I applied Mac Cosmetics' lipglass in Clear or Laura Geller's color drenched lip gloss in Perked up Pink and it still looks amazing.
And here's how it looks on me! :)
It looks soft and beautiful on everyone. I highly recommend it! Happy shopping!
